The MYC Heat Policy is available in full on the website as part of the Health & Safety Policy. 

Below are the key points for parents and gymnasts to be aware of:

• When temperature at in Mount Martha exceeds 37 degrees sessions will be cancelled. This temperature will be determined by checking the Elders Weather website (www.eldersweather.com.au/vic/central/mount-martha) 30 minutes before the commencement of the session. Sessions will be cancelled on a session by session basis.

   

• A message will be left on the club answering machine if the session is cancelled. Parents can phone the club to check 30min prior to the session.

   

   

• For situations where the ambient temperature is greater than 30 degrees and less than 37 degrees Celsius training may be modified and additional drink breaks provided.
